Postponement of May Parish Council Meeting

The coronavirus legislation that enabled Parish Council to meet virtually expired on 7th May 2021 and has not been extended by the government.Therefore, the Parish Council is no longer permitted to meet virtually and the meeting scheduled for 11th May 2021 will not take place as planned and will be postponed.We are waiting for further advice from Leicestershire and Rutland Association of Local Councils and the National Association of Local Councils.An update will be provided once we receive further information.

Deferral of April Parish Council meeting to 22nd April 2021

We apologise for the late notice, but due to advice received from NALC late today, the meeting scheduled for Tuesday 13th April 2021 has been deferred until 7.30pm on Thursday 22nd April 2021.

Following the ruling from NALC it stipulates that the country went into morning on Friday 9th April and at least 3 clear days before a meeting of the council has not been met as we cannot use the day's of mourning. More »

The days of mourning are Friday 9th April until 8 am Sunday 18th April 2021. This means that the earliest we can hold the Parish Council meeting would be Thursday 22nd April 2021 at 7.30pm. » Less
